Keith Donnell Jr.

Background

Keith Donnell Jr. returned to San Francisco to launch his latest poetry collection, supreme night, at the iconic Green Apple Books. The evening brought together literature lovers, longtime friends, and fellow poets for a powerful celebration of Black art, memory, and liberation.

We were invited to document the event—capturing Keith’s reading, the community that showed up in support, and the unmistakable energy of a space filled with purpose and poetry.

project goals

This was more than a book launch—it was a homecoming. Our goal was to provide Keith with a vibrant, storytelling-driven visual archive he could use across platforms to promote supreme night, honor the support of those present, and reflect on a major career milestone.

  • Capture candid and formal portraits of Keith Donnell Jr. throughout the event

  • Document the audience, atmosphere, and two additional guest artists reading their work

  • Deliver a versatile image set for use in press, social media, and personal archives

the result

The resulting images tell a story of artistic celebration and cultural connection. Keith now has a rich visual library to support the promotion of supreme night, while Green Apple Books and fellow guest artists have also shared the work across their own channels. The photos honor the moment while leaving space for the movement behind it.

Let’s capture your next big moment.

Whether you’re releasing a book, hosting a reading, or building your artist portfolio—let’s create timeless visuals that match the depth of your work.
